Basilic Swing is a gypsy, gypsy jazz and Klezmer music group in Marseille, Provence.
The flagship of the new Marseille jazz scene in full swing, Basilic Swing demonstrates that you can make something new out of something old. Our quintet draws inspiration from traditional Eastern European music and American jazz to distill a musical energy full of emotions and wildly festive!
With its repertoire of gypsy jazz, Klezmer and Gypsy music, Basilic Swing will take you to the roots of jazz and the itinerant cultures of Central and Eastern Europe.
Two guitars, a double bass, a violin and a clarinet to take you on a journey to the crossroads of genres.
We travel throughout Europe for your concerts, festivals, events, weddings, cocktails, Bar Mitzvahs, restaurants, corporate parties, musical entertainment...
